YCT begins Eighth Year
On Monday 28 August 2006, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah began its eighth year of school. For the second year in a row, classes are being held at the Kraft Center, also home of the Columbia Hillel.
There were several chevre-building activities to go along with the onset of learning in the first week, including a softball game (of which Benji has a few pictures (see the eight entries from 31 August)). For further pictures I have taken thus far from this year at YCT, see here.
This year's focus for halakhah for years 2-4 is on niddah.

Speaking of the new year.... there's still time to order the YCT Tanakh Companion to the Book of Samuel direct from Ben Yehuda Press and read rabbis David Silber and Yehuda Felix on haftorat Rosh Hashanah.
You can also order direct from Amazon.
