Meorot Fellowship
Ari Weiss, one of the current co-leaders of the Meorot Fellowship asked me to post the following:
The Meorot Fellowship, a program of Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, aims to inspire young men and women to enter into Jewish religious leadership. The fellowship devotes one evening a week during the academic year to exploring the challenges and opportunities that modernity presents to Orthodoxy.
Fellows, comprised of undergraduate juniors and seniors and recent college graduates, participate in lectures by highly esteemed rabbinic and academic scholars and community leaders and reflect on and critique what they have heard in a safe-space conversation afterwards, aiming to build a committed community with diverse responses and opinions.
Apply online today at http://www.yctorah.org/content/view/36/11/.
If you are interested in learning more about this program, please call 212.666.0036 or e-mail meorot@yctorah.org. The deadline for applications for program year 2007-2008 has been extended to May 31, 2007.
